It’s Not Just Our Generation

Photo
As we were packing stuff for our recent home move, I came across these muffin tins. To me they looked beaten, old, and ready for the trash. I asked Lori if she wanted me to throw them out, to which she replied an emphatic – “NO! They are the best one’s I have.”

Lori is known for her chocolate chip muffins and she swears by these old tins. Well, not actually swears, but you know what I mean.

If you are young, find someone who is ahead of you on the journey and open your heart to them. In doing so you will probably find a wealth of wisdom and experience that can save you time, pain, and frustration. Sometimes the best way to embrace something new is to rediscover something old.

God is not only the God of this generation.
God is the God of every generation.

At 35, it serves me well to remember that I am someones muffin tin.

Just to clarify … are you calling Lori an “old muffin tin”?
    Just wondering. :-)

  2. No…I would never do that – on my blog :-)
