A Personal Faith Story

This came from a friend, in my email box at the perfect time as always. I wanted to share this encouragement with you because if you are walking a faith journey the you can be encouraged by these words.

Everything in our moving to Canada was God.  We had bought our tickets a year in advance because we got a great deal, we were going to sell our house and that would be a deposit for a house in Canada.  As time went we put our house up for sale and waited, nothing, we prayed, fasted, prayed more, fasted more, didn’t God understand time was running out we would be leaving soon. We began to get desperate because we were leaving soon and our house was not sold, we almost had a problem some man wanted to buy it but kept messing us around and he wanted us to pay for a lawyer, I asked Jesus to be our advocate and the next day the man changed his mind he was not buying the house. We found out later that he was not an honest man. We were left with two weeks to leave, we had done all we knew to do and we left it in God’s hands and then I got a call a Christian family, his wife wanted to open a school and our home would be perfect, they would take care of everything, all the lawyers’ fees, the transfer of title deeds and they were ready to pay straight away. God takes care of all His children. Everything was done a few days before we left. We knew our application Approval was God, the Ticket deal ($1800 for 6 people) only God.

Yesterday as I began to pray for your family, the Lord said pray through the day.  Started to declare the Greatness of our God and He lead me to Job not his trials but his faith. In the first chapter verse 8 God describes Job; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. Through the chapters job holds on to who God is in his life and from chapter 38 & 39 The Lord speaks and begins to say who He is, He begins to revel more of His character to job – He is the one who laid the foundations, He is One who stretched a measuring line to tell the sea how far it could go, He is the one gives orders to the morning or shown the dawn its place, He is the one who orchestrates the seasons, and His goodness in creation. I always thought that the blessing was that God blessed him double but that was just the overflow, the blessing was God revelation of more of Himself to Job. His Sovereignty and Power. I will exalt you O Lord, Maker of Heaven and Earth, King of Glory, Lord of Lords, You are the Bright Morning Star, You are the Lily of the Valley, the Rose of Sharon, and You are enthroned as King forever.

At a this busy time when order is not the word for the day, praying that you would see more of God’s character, His absolute goodness, faithfulness, kindness and Divinity.  God Bless.
