Yesterday at Lifecentre we discussed a big elephant in the church. We did our best to answer the question, “how can a loving God send people to hell?” I don’t do this often, but you can listen to the audio here or watch it here (video should be up by Tuesday am). How can a loving God send people to hell?
I will unpack some of my thoughts during the week.
In the meantime, here is a great video by Johnny Cash. The song was played to various “stars” and all that happened is they filmed their reaction to the words of the song.
Just wanted to say what an amazing job you did on Sunday. The message was absolutely amazing and definitely hit home.
God does everything to prevent us from “going down” even to the point of sending His one and only Son to be our sacrifice!!!!! I do not know about any other parents out there but I am assuming that they would have just as much as a problem as myself with sending their own child to die for someone….God really really LOVES us!!!!!!!! He wants Life and heaven for us, here on earth and for eternity. I know I just need to say yes to His way and stop suffering when I choose sin.
PS the message was out of this world fantastic this past Sunday.
