On our recent holiday we spent the morning at a mall. Lori let me know that she was looking for a new bathing suit, and I thought (naive) how long can this take? I mean, this takes me 1-2 minutes…tops.
30 bathing suits later…
All I am going to say is that there isn’t much more of an awkward place then to be standing in the middle of a bikini store for 20 minutes while your wife is trying on suits. There is no “cool” way to play that card – you just feel like…well…you figure it out.
Thank God for my new toy – it was a life saver!
I have made it a point to never shop with Lori as long as she is looking for a) bathing suits, or b) jeans. Those are special moments to be shared with the girlfriends.

To understand the gender differences in shopping look at it this way,
MEN -
1/ we know what we want before even stepping inside the store
2/ we generally know where it is located in the store
3/ we are interested in one thing, go in get it and get out as quickly as possible
WOMEN -
“hey lets go see whats on sale at the Mall” ( notice no mention of a particular store or item
Here is a pictorial representation of what I am trying to say
