If you don’t "take notes" and develop time to think, you will forget 95% of what you hear in 72 hours or less.
Take a moment and think about all that you read, listen to, or watch. If you don’t write or reflect 95% of it will be lost.
Staggering isn’t it?

I think I read that somewhere once, but I can’t remember where. I had forgotten about it.
Given that the exam I’m studying for is more than 72 hours away, this could be a problem… Great way to start off the morning, thanks Pastor, lol
And it doesn’t seem to matter how interested you are in what you’re listening to – very little is retained. That’s why, I rarely look at you when you’re preaching. I take about 4-5 pages of notes per sermon and read them throughout the week. Sinks in. Sinks in real good.
As Steve Wright once said, “I think I am having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I feel like I have forgotten this before.”
