August Rush

Oh My Goodness… Jason and I got to go on a little date to see a movie I have been waiting for since the summer. We saw a preview for August Rush in the summer and tears filled my eyes just watching the preview. I had very high expectations going into this movie. I thought there was no way the movie could live up to the preview and the expectations I had built up in my mind about what it was going to be.

It was even better than I was expecting. It was the kind of movie you want to just start over and watch again. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen in my life. August Rush is what the movies are all about to me. It was magical, it was musical, it was beautiful, it was romantic, to me it was perfect.

I actually cried for an hour straight. Not because I was sad, but because I was touched so deeply in this movie. It reminded me that if you believe something strongly enough, if you have faith, you will see great things.

If you haven’t seen a preview you can check it out here… And go see this wonderful movie.

Have you seen it yet?

Imagine seeing our life as a movie trailer,I wonder what it would look like and would people want to come see my movie life?God must have the biggest bag of popcorn ever watching us. I left a comment on Jasons blog also,I think I was a bit defensive when talking about my emotions…lol.

follow-up note…We made it to the movie! :-) It was a nice feel good movie…thanks for giving us an idea for a date. I looked up the movie sound track afterwards…because I loved that style of guitar playing. Turns out the “hands” of the guitarist were Kaki King..a young woman who really does play like that.
