Girls Love to hear… You are my Hero
This one needs to come from a husband, or someone who is REALLY close… it has to be from someone close enough to be able to admire you genuinely. Now timing is essential, if you just come home from work one day and say… Honey, You are my Hero… she will look at you like… Why?
But when she begins to describe how hard her day was, all the responsibility on her, all the things around the house she had to do, all the people she had to help, or how hard she worked at her job and how exhausted she is… that is the perfect time to say… Honey, You are my Hero… and you can convince her by saying… I could never do what you do…
Also after childbirth is the PERFECT time to say… You are my Hero.
It will make her feel so special if you say this one almost anytime she is overwhelmed because of all that she is carrying. Trust me on this one… Now this compliment in no way compromises the manly-ness of any man. If your wife is your hero because you could never do what she does…then you will be her hero.
I wonder how many men actually read this blog? I think I am preaching to the choir…

I read your blog. And calling Denise my “Hero”, the word just doesnt seem to roll off my tongue that easily. Doing what we do for each other in my mind isnt “Heroic”, its just loving. Its what is just normal behaviour. So with that said I tell my wife I love and appreciate all her hard work and personal sacrifice that she does for her loved ones. And when shes really on a roll I call her my “HOT MAMA” :}

Thanks for this comment in particular, I do read this blog, and this one stands out the most for me. I never thought of that, and my fiance is a Teacher, so she definately needs to hear comments like this from time to ime, considering Teachers are often the victims of being under-payed, under appreciated, and over-worked. So thanks again!
i think your advise is really useful im preety much a moron when it come to telling my girlfriend how i feel and what too say at times but this helps me put the emotions into the right words and actions instead of something that could be easily regarded as a lie for my own gain
