You really can’t go wrong with any of his books, but if you are just starting I recommend The Five Temptations of a CEO.

John Ortberg
While I have to confess that I haven’t read all his books (yet) I am working through them, and they are working their way through me. I just picked up his new book, When the Game Is Over It All Goes Back In the Box. I will let you know how it goes.
The one that really got me was – The Life You’ve Always Wanted.
Branding/Marketing
Seth Godin
Sharp insight that is purposeful and pointed. I loved The Dip, Purple Cows, & Free Prize Inside.
Novels
OK. I must confess that I never read novels. I was into an author a while back, and did read most of his stuff. I also read a few books from another author, that is a bit embarrassing to confess. In any regard, here they are:
Douglas Coupland. Life After God, Generation X, & Girlfriend in a Coma were brilliant.
Sophia Kinsella – The Shopaholic Series (told you it was embarrassing!)
