Moth or Sloth?

You see you carry a light inside of you if you know Jesus… you carry the light of Jesus and that light gives you life. It’s a contagious light that will spread when shining brightly. It’s almost silly to think of you as a light that is hidden under a bowl. Jesus wants you to be like a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. Shining with His light for all to see.

It’s so fascinating to watch; as our light gets dimmer we begin to hide. We begin to pull away from our friends and our family. We disconnect from relationship and church and it doesn’t take long for us to become hidden… sometimes literally and sometime just in our hearts. If you think about people who used to come to church or lifegroup that no longer attend… ask yourself are they hiding?

If you can take one thing from this whole series I pray it’s that YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. That is what you are… that is who you are… Believe it… YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD… your destiny and purpose is to be a light… to be a person from whom the light of Jesus reflects through in a personal and unique way. The way your light shines is going to be unique to you… it’s going to be special and unique but it’s there. It’s in you already… Jesus called you the LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
