For those of you who have been reading my blog for a while, you will know that it started as a six-month experiment. My main goal was to be honest and consistent with the style and frequency of my posts.
If you know me it won’t come as a surprise that I value both creativity and structure equally. In fact, I don’t see how you can have one without the other. With that being said, I want you to know that I am adding a structural element to my blog. To date, I only have one. After I give a talk I post an entry entitled Life Deconstructed where you can see the "behind the scenes" elements that inspired me to give that specific talk. Today, I am introducing one more feature called Friday Fast Thoughts.
Each Friday I will be posting observations that I had while reading Scripture that past week. I hope you enjoy this feature, but to be honest, it is just as much for me as it is for you. I am looking forward to looking back over the years and being able to read how I thought about certain passages of Scripture then vs. what I think about them presently.
Without any further ado…Friday Fast Thoughts…
