Why is weight such an issue for most women? Why do we allow what we
look like on the outside to dictate how we feel on the inside?
Women
are the most beautiful creatures on the planet. God made us to be
attractive to men. Our basic anatomy turns men on in a way that is
natural and normal. I don’t understand what is so great about a couple
of round fat sacks with nipples but that is because I am not a man. God
created us beautiful no matter what we see when we look in the mirror.
The
other day my husband said the sweetest thing to me. He said, “I love
your curves.” At first I was like “Ya right, a few less curves would be
nice though right?” But he emphatically rebuked me (in a loving way)
and said, “No, I love all the curves of your body, I love it exactly
the way it is and I think it’s beautiful.” It touched me, and more
importantly I believed it. I truly believed that he loved my curves and
you know the next time I walked by the mirror I thought, “I like my
curves too.”
The point is not that Jason had to say that to me
in order for me to be able to like what I saw but that I choose to
believe that about myself. I made the choice to love my curves, nursing
band and all – you ladies that have bore children know what I mean. Now
the benefit to my husband is that if I believe that my curves are
beautiful and sexy then I will use them to give him pleasure. And all
the men say “AMEN!”
Seriously ladies, God created you beautiful
just the way you are, you don’t have imperfections to God, He created
you like that because He thought that was a beautiful and creative way
to make a women. And he created you with the ability to totally turn on
the man that you are meant to share your life with. The sooner you see
your beauty the more beautiful you will be to everyone in your life. So
today every time you look in the mirror say, “ I am a beautiful woman!”
Just do it!
